I Wouldn’t Change A Thing

Your words inspired me to think a bit differently-and
to share the world which I see, when looking through
my jaded view at a never changing you- oh,
the way you stared when I dared- when
my heart I shared, but you left me seeing
there was no sense in being- hopeful
for a love so fleeting. Ours paths had once met
and I would bet, that I shall never regret- the
nights of fun and the days in the sun- when
we as two became one
